"Cute tapas place in San Sebastián. The carrots, the crudo and the ravioli were very tasty and we enjoyed the natural wine selection. Service was okay."

"We had the ravioli, costilla, panna cotta, and wine. The mushrooms with the ricotta ravioli, the sweet potato puree with the beef, everything just went so well together. It was really flavorful. They had a good selection of wines. Everything was reasonably priced. We came in for dinner without a reservation but didn’t have to wait to be seated as there were many available tables. The staff were friendly and accommodating. All in all, it was great value for money and we would happily eat here again and recommend this place to others as well."

"When we walked in we thought we had the wrong place and wondered what the gal at our hotel was thinking. But after the first bite we realized we were in a very special place. The place feel is like an American dive bar but the food and service are extraordinary. I was skeptical of the flavor combinations based on the descriptions on the menu and was completely blown away by how well everything worked. I ordered my first glass of wine and should have had the server pick it because he chose my second glass and it was perfect. Our 20 year old was with us and they are primarily a vegetarian but will eat fish occasionally which is good because they were able to eat all of the things we ordered with only slight modifications (like us removing the ham from on top of one of the dishes). The menu is limited but they focus on local and seasonal ingredients which means we expect that the menu changes fairly frequently. When we are in San Sebastián again, we will be going back to see what other amazing things they produce out of their tiny kitchen. And for reference, we ordered 5 plates between the 3 of us and it was plenty. Definitely a hidden gem."

"We came to San Sebastián for the food—and this place completely blew us away. We didn’t have a reservation and just walked in for a casual dinner, but what we got was anything but ordinary. The menu is small, but every single dish sounds (and tastes) incredible. The way they combine seasonal, local ingredients is just next level—every bite was an explosion of flavor. We genuinely had fun while eating, which says a lot. The service was super friendly and charming, and the atmosphere is cozy and full of character. They also have an amazing selection of natural wines, which paired beautifully with the food. The price-to-quality ratio is more than fair, and we’d absolutely come back in a heartbeat. Can’t recommend it enough—this spot is a real gem."

"What a great meal! Tasty, fresh, loads of veg and yummy flavour combos. Highly highly recommend for a nice sit down meal and break from pintxos. The tuna was epic as were the ravioli. Also, EUR 2.50 highly quaffable wine in a resto? Divine. Service is perfunctory and the space is tiny but it adds to the charm. Call to book."

"Super cute natural wine and small plates place. Fresh, seasonal menu items -- really wonderful to get some vegetables in amidst all the pintxos I'd be having. Wines were delicous - highly recommend!"

"We were brought here at the end of an 6 hour history/food tour of San Sebastian. And I'm so glad Arenales was the last stop!!! The food and wines here were out of this world!!! Every aspect of this establishment is fantastic!!!"

"Within our trip in Donostia, this was the best restaurant we had. The food was exquisite. It was a combination of really fine dining, but keeping it simple and nice. We really liked the vibes from the servant and the local. On top of it, they also gave us immediatly a table without reservation, but we recommend to reserve before."
